Just a report on our adventures with friends and family and hopefully an occasional star interaction.

Jacksonville/Pocono's

We have just returned from a visit to Ned's family in Jacksonville. It was a warm lovely visit. We were able to get a sneak peak at the BLaferships new home, being built now. We visited the site on Saturday and saw many busy hands getting ready for the new occupants.

On Sunday we split into two groups 1 group went to see the Jacksonville Jaguars play the Houston Texans in football and the other group went to the Cummer museum and gardens. Guess which group Ned went with and which group I went with. The museum had a special exhibit of sculptures of J. Seward Johnson. He recreates famous paintings in three dimensional sculpture form. It really was very interesting. He concentrates his works mostly on the impressionist era. He also has many city scene sculptures through out the country including the man with an umbrella here in Philadelphia. After the museum we swung back around the Blaferships new home and saw that in 24 hours they had built a back patio and stairs to the 2nd floor. I was able to experience the excitement with them as they saw the progress. Here is a shot of my sister in law Lori , Charlie and Olivia in the game room. Thanks again to Dad and Ginny and the Blaferships for the great time. Back to the old work grind today for Ned and tonight for me.

Now for the Pocono's. We have settled on the construction loan and are waiting for permits. We have about three more weeks according to the builder to get started before the weather gets to bad. Above I have included two pictures One of Ned in front of out land and one of a similar style home a mile or so from our intended home. The other a picture of the road the house will be on. The whole process is a real nail biter.
