My Sister Denise recently gave me the Mary Tyler Moore show First season on DVD for my birthday and I was ecstatic. It was one of the favorite shows in the Merrill household. The gift was also so appropriate since Mary and I share a birthday. She has always been one of my favorite celebrities. As I watch the shows now I can so appreciate the subtle humor of them and at times slapstick aspects of some of the episodes. It really was a monumental show and above is a treat for all of us who enjoyed the show.

Hi! Not commenting so much on MTM (though it certainly makes me feel old when I relize how long ago it was on!), but on your blog in general. I found it through another blog I was reading from houseblogs.net, and I've enjoyed browsing through. I lived in Philly from 84-99 (now in the Rehomoth Beach area), so the glimpses of the city were fun. Your new house in the Poconos is delightful! And you have introduced me to my New Favorite Blog: Project Gay.

um, and I really do know how to spell words like "realize" and "glimpse," I just don't know how to remember to review what I type!
